FAQ’s for the Princess Ball

How much are tickets? Early bird tickets are $40 per father/daughter couple. Each additional daughter is $20. Ticket prices increase to $50/$30 on November 6. (Includes small service fee at checkout.) Click HERE to purchase. **We are extending our early bird pricing through Wednesday (11/9, @ 11:59pm). What time is the event? 6:30-9pm.

Where is the event? At the Lincoln Center, 1316 N. Lincoln, in the Lincoln Ballroom.

Do I have to pay for parking. No. Parking is complimentary at the Lincoln Center.

What is the dresscode? We recommend semi-formal attire. This is a very special event and girls love to get dressed up! However, please don’t let the dress code keep you from coming if you do not have semi-formal attire.

Is there a place I can hang my coat at the event? Yes, there is a coatrack in the ballroom.

Are tickets available at the door? Yes, though we recommedn reservations because it helps us have an accurate head count, and it saves you money. Tickets are the door are: $50 per couple and $30 for each additional daughter. Click HERE to purchase tickets in advance.

Is dinner included? No. We serve delicious petit four desserts from Marsell’s Cakes and Desserts, we have a sweets station, and serve punch, water, and coffee.

What ages is this event for? All ages are welcome. The majority of girls who attend are elementary school age, however, we have girls as young as one attend and even college age and older girls attending.

We are unable to attend. Are tickets refundable? Tickets are non-refundable. However, you are more than welcome to give or sell them to someone else. Please let us know who you give your tickets to so we can add them to our guest list.

I would like to be an event underwriter and/ or donate an item(s) for your silent auction. Who do I contact? Please download our “investment opportunities” packet, HERE, and contact us using the phone number or email address on the document. 

How do I nominate my dad for the Sonora Smart Dodd Father of the Year Award?

  1. Tell us in 300 words or less why your dad should receive the “Sonora Smart Dodd Father of the Year Award”. (Be sure to include your name and your dad’s name.) The deadline to submit your essay is Saturday, November 5th.
  2. Post your nomination on the “Whatever Girls” Facebook page. (If you don’t have Facebook, your mom or someone else with a Facebook account can post on your behalf)
  3. After posting, “share” your post from our Facebook page and tell your Facebook friends to “like” and “share” your nomination post on the “Whatever Girls” Facebook page.
  4. The top three nominations to receive the most “likes” will be reviewed by our panel of judges, and the winner will be announced at the third annual “Whatever Girls Princess Ball and Sonora Smart Dodd Father of the Year Award” event on November 12.
